The Pink Elephant

Class: Advanced Graphic Design
Professor: Paul Sheriff

The Pink Elephant is a wine bar pop-up located in the Philadelphia zoo that opens up after the zoo closes at 5:30. The reasoning for opening after hours at the zoo is so parents can get a much-needed break from their kids and enjoy all the zoo has to offer in peace and quiet.

The name for the pop-up originated from the classic 1941 Disney movie Dumbo where the titular elephant gets drunk and hallucinates seeing pink elephants. This name fits perfectly since it relates to the zoo and alcohol and is a reference most parents would understand since they grew up with the film.
