Packaged Products

My goal for this self-driven project was to create a series of packaged product designs that would look aesthetically pleasing next to each other. Even though all these pieces were made digitally, I wanted them to have a loose hand-drawn feel, which I achieved by drawing them on the iPad. I also needed to have a unified color palette so I decided to stick with only 5 colors that would be reused throughout the entire catalog.

Instead of choosing random packaged items to design, I wanted to pick ones that held important significance to people. In this age of mass consumerism, the items we purchase and the brands we follow for better or worse say a lot about ourselves. I first started drawing my own personal favorite packaged products but soon expanded the list by asking friends on social media platforms which ones to design next.
